Modified on Tue, 04 May 2021 at 11:08 AM

With the update on May 2021, there is a new feature added which allows you to modify the product prices when changing your store currency. This would be helpful for those stores want to apply different price points for different regions.

1 - Adjust the prices for all items

Step 1: Add price list

Fill the required information into the popup

  • Price list's name: Input whatever you want to appear
  • Price list's currency: Choose the currency that needs to be changed
  • Price list's country: There are more than one country that use the same currency (USD, EUR, etc.) so this field helps us determine the precise location
  • Adjustment type: Decrease or Increase a number in percentage
  • Value (%): Type down the value in percentage to increase/ decrease the whole price list

Step 2: Click Create then check your storefront to see the changes

2 - Adjust the prices for some specific products/ variants

With some items/ variants that you want to have different price points after adjusting for the whole list, you can follow the instruction below to edit them

Step 1: Create a custom price widget (if unavailable)

Step 2: Click Edit product variants' prices to open your product list and pick an item that needs to be modified

Step 3: Enter the main price and compare price for each variant manually will be helpful if you need them to be different. Please remember the currency is now changed and list adjustment applied!

or just use the fields above to apply changes to all available variants

- When fixed prices are removed, Shopify will automatically retrieve the original prices from your product settings
