Step 1: Within the app.

To remove your Instagram account from the store, simply click 'Delete' button of the feed you wish to remove.

Click Delete again when the confirmation box appear.

If you only wish to remove chosen feeds, please refrain from doing further steps listed below.

Step 2: Remove all connection with Facebook.

For business account:

If you wish to remove every feeds connected to your business account and also remove your Instagram business account from your store, you can skip Step 1 and follow the steps below.

  1. Log into your Facebook account that connected to your Business's Instagram account.
  2. Go to Settings.
  3. Choose Business Integrations from the list.
  4. Choose the app and click Remove.

For personal account:

If you wish to remove every feeds connected to your business account and also remove your Instagram business account from your store, you can skip Step 1 and follow the steps below.

  1. Log into your Instagram, go to Settings.
  2. Choose Apps and Websites from the list.
  3. Choose click the Remove button under the app.


Step 3: Removing remaining codes.

After removing the feeds from the front of the store, to ensure technical integrity, make sure you also remove the application's and the feeds' codes in the theme code. To do so,

  1. Go to the Themes section under the Online Store tab in your myShopify admin homepage.
    Choose Actions > Edit code.
  2. To remove feed (preset) codes, simply go back to the file you pasted the feed's code in. It is ideal to keep track of those files for easy add/ remove of feeds.
  3. To remove the app's code from your theme's data, we will need to remove them from theme.liquid file, as well as arn-aif.css and arn-aif.js from the theme code's Assets.
    • To find the app's code in the theme.liquid file, please follow the picture below.
    • To find arn-aif.css and arn-aif.js from the theme code's Assets, simply click 'aif' on the search bar as seen below.Click each file and click Delete file button.
